HOW IT WORKS
Three steps to the
right machine.
We don't start with our portfolio. We start with your application. Here's exactly what the process looks like — from first conversation to production-ready solution.
THE PROCESS
Simple in structure. Serious in execution.
Every engagement follows the same three steps — because the order matters.
Tell us about your application
The first conversation is not a sales call. We ask questions about your application, your production environment, your materials, and your constraints — before we touch the catalogue. Your situation drives the conversation, not ours.
We always work with NDA’s, so your designs are completely confidential with us.
1
WHAT WE COVER IN STEP 1
What parts you're producing or want to produce — geometry, complexity, volumes
Material requirements — mechanical properties, thermal performance, chemical resistance
Your current supply chain situation and where the pain actually is
Budget range and timeline expectations — realistic, not optimistic
What success looks like for your team
We define the right solution
Based on your application, we identify the right technology and the right machine — and build a business case grounded in your actual numbers. If 3D printing isn't the right call for your situation, we'll tell you that too. We'd rather lose a sale than place the wrong machine.
2
WHAT WE DELIVER IN STEP 2
A clear technology recommendation with reasoning — why this process, why this machine
An honest assessment of where 3D printing adds value for your specific application
A cost-per-part estimate based on realistic parameters, not best-case scenarios
A comparison of relevant machines in the portfolio with a clear recommendation
Production of a demo part in your application — we always print before we sell. This is a requirement for both sides: you see real output from the actual system, and we validate the fit. It protects both sides.
If applicable: a frank opinion on whether conventional manufacturing makes more sense
Implement with confidence
When the decision is made, we support the full implementation — from machine installation and operator training to process development for your specific application. You don't just receive a machine. You receive a working production capability.
3
WHAT IMPLEMENTATION INCLUDES
Machine delivery, installation, and site preparation guidance
Operator training for your team — machine operation and basic process control
Application-specific process development — getting your first parts right
Ongoing technical support from someone who understands your application, not just the machine
WHAT TO EXPECT
The consultation in practice.
Here's what the first conversation actually looks like — so there are no surprises.
Duration: 45–60 minutes
The first consultation runs about an hour. Enough to understand your situation properly — not so long it becomes a presentation marathon.
Format: video call
or on-site
Most first consultations are by video call. For more complex applications or when physical parts are involved, we prefer to come to you.
No death by
power point
The conversation is driven by your application — we ask, you answer, we think out loud together.
You'll leave with
a clear answer
After the first consultations or when physical parts are involved, you'll know whether 3D printing makes sense for your situation, and if so, what the right direction is. No "we'll follow up with a proposal."
OUR COMMITMENT
What we will and
won't do.
We think it's worth being explicit about what our process includes — and what it doesn't.
We will give you a specific recommendation
Not "it depends." A clear technology, a clear machine, a clear rationale.
We won't push a machine that doesn't fit.
We sell machines. That's honest. What sets us apart is that our process starts with your application, not our margin.
We will tell you when it's not a fit
If your application doesn't make sense for 3D printing, you'll hear that in the first conversation.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Questions before you book.
Straight answers to the questions we hear most often.
-
No. You need to know your application and the problem you are trying to solve— what are you making, what does it needs to do, and what the ideal situation looks like. We handle the technology side. The more specific you can be about your production reality, the better the conversation will be.
-
It depends on the machine and your situation. Demo parts can be ordered after the first meeting and delivered within 1 to 3 weeks. Machine delivery and installation timeframes vary by system and are confirmed during the process. We're transparent about lead times from the start.
-
Yes, we can. But we'll ask you to walk us through the application first so we can confirm the fit. If the machine you've identified is the right one, you'll have that confirmed. If there's a better option for your specific case, you'll know before you commit. In most cases, we require a demo part to be printed before a machine is placed. You see real output from the actual system, and we validate the fit. It protects both sides.
-
No. Our portfolio covers a wide range of investment levels from compact entry-point systems to large-format production machines. What matters is whether the application and the economics make sense, not the size of your organisation.
-
We support the implementation, training, process development, and ongoing technical support. We're not a drop-ship operation. If something isn't working the way it should for your application, we stay involved until it does.
READY TO START
Not sure where to start? That's exactly why
we're here.
